This is the time all Nigerians home and abroad have been waiting for. It has dawn on us that we deserve a true democratic change within our body polity. For the past 16 years no political party in Nigeria appeals to, and derives its strength from, each and every section of Nigeria society.

But with the birth of All Progressives Congress in Nigeria, an epoch making event, Nigerians today can affirm the birth of a party built on the basis of its core values and ideology-secularism, nationalism, social Justice, and economic growth for all especially the common man.

We, in the Diaspora strongly identify with the manifesto of these noble and great spirits championing this divine approved change for our great Nation. We reaffirm unflinching commitment to the leadership of Chief Bisi Akande, his National Executive of All progressives Congress and all the sage establishing the foundations of the modern Nigeria nation-state with its pledging commitment to true democracy, secularism, economic development, and science and technology.

Only a united Nigeria can fight terrorism, terrorism knows no religion and it respects no political boundary. Its method is the mindless use of violence directed at the defenceless innocent in the most cowardly manner. We all know that religious polarization that is intrinsic to the ruling party in Nigeria severely erode our capacity to disarm terrorism.

We share with the views of APC in the use of relentlessly, intelligently and wisely and without fear or favour to combat terrorism, not by people who are divided by religion.

The vision of APC which combines experience and youth, wisdom and exuberance, achievement and ambition has been assimilated by us and we are determined to ensure that the mandate is given to APC come 2015.
